The Chinese Embassy and Consulates-General in Canada will use an online visa application form and appointment booking system
2019-01-01 12:31

Starting from January 1, 2019, the Chinese Embassy and Consulates-General in Canada will use a newly developed online visa application form and appointment booking system. All Chinese visa applicants are required to log on to the official website of the Chinese Visa Application Service Center, to fill out an electronic application form and make an appointment online for submitting their applications.

Applicants who hold a diplomatic, official or special passport or who are members of an important official delegation, are not required to make appointments online. The above-mentioned applicants will only need to complete the online application forms, and print out the confirmation page, application form as well as the Education, Employment and Marriage Form. After signing on the above-mentioned forms, they could proceed to submit their passports and the other application documents directly to the Chinese Embassy or Consulates-General in Canada through diplomatic Channels.
