The health status of people is not only an important indicator for the economy and social development, but also a basic foundation for a harmonious society.

Jointly organized by Shanghai Center for Scientific & Technological Exchange with Foreign Countries, Center for Public Nutrition and Development of China and the Center for Genetics, Nutrition & Health (USA), the 2006 International Congress & Exhibition on Nutrition, Fitness and Health (NFH) will be held from 30 November to 2 December, 2006 in Shanghai, China.

 World Health Organization, Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations, International Union of Nutritional Sciences, International society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids and related Chinese Administrations are the supporters of NFH 2006. The distinguished Chinese nutritionist, Madam Yu Ruomu had showed deep concern for NFH 2006 and occupied honorary chairperson.

 

The mission of NFH 2006 is to serve a focus for communication among interested scientists, scholars, officials and entrepreneurs - working in nutrition, fitness, pathology, biochemistry, clinical medicine, public nutrition and health industry.

With the objective of increasing the understanding of relations between nutrition, fitness and chronic diseases, NFH 2006 is dedicated to the concept of "Positive Health", scientific diet and life style as well as promoting health industry and improving public health. NFH 2006 consists of Forum and Exhibition, discussing and displaying the latest achievements in public nutrition, fitness and health as well as prevention and cure of chronic diseases.
