Consul General LIU Fei Attends BC Government Briefing for the Consular Corps of British Columbia

On March 10, H.E. LIU Fei, Consul General of the People's Republic of China attended the briefing from the Provincial Government to the Consular Corps in BC.

In her remarks as the Dean of the Consular Corps, Consul General LIU expressed her appreciation to Provincial Government for the briefing, also the introduction of a new Discriminatory Provisions (Historical Wrongs) Repeal Act to permanently remove discriminatory provisions in historical private legislation. Consul General LIU also encouraged the Provincial Government to strengthen its cooperation with countries including China.

At the briefing, officials from related departments introduced policies on driver licencing for foreign representatives, emergency preparedness, BC electoral process, and some immigration policies.
