Consul General Liu Fei Attended CCBC Reception

On October 20, 2016, H.E. Liu Fei, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Vancouver attended the special reception organized by Canada China Business Council (CCBC).

Consul General Liu outlined the significant outcomes achieved during the recent exchanged visits by Chinese Premier LI Keqiang and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. She believed that these outcomes will be a strong impetus to bolster bilateral cooperation in various sectors such as economy and trade, tourism, education, etc., and bring more benefits to the people in both China and Canada. She also expressed appreciations over the great efforts made by CCBC in promoting bilateral relations in the past decades, and encouraged the organization to make further contributions to the creation of a new “golden decade” for the relationship of our two great nations as outlined by our two leaders.

Hon. Stockwell Day, former Federal Minister of International Trade and current CCBC Vice Chairman, also gave a speech at the event. He highlighted the development of friendly relations between China and Canada, spoke highly of the recent exchanged visits of the two leaders, and shared his high expectations on future cooperation between the two countries.
